When Deke and I met in California to talk about what type of Hallmark double neck guitar he would like, he explained all the things he wanted on the guitar. It was all straight ahead double neck with a golden sparkle finish. Then I said Deke, if there was one thing you could have on this guitar that you have never had on any guitar before, what would it be? Deke said let me think for a second, .......... I know, how about my name inlaid on the fingerboards that light up?? Well, I guess I got myself into that one! So, I contacted my good friend Alfonzo Hermida who worked right up the way at NASA and by the way is an electronics genuis, if he could program a chip for me to use with the lights I would inlay in the fingerboards. You would not believe the massive wiring through the necks and all the solder joints that went into this guitar. I was not sure until I finished it if it would even work! I delivered the guitar to Deke in person and what you seein these videos is the very first time he played it! This was at the Doll Hut in Aneheim Ca. Thanks for the order Deke! -Bob Shade
